JUNG Casambi keypads are battery‑free wireless wall transmitters that utilise the Bluetooth® Low Energy (BLE) standard to control lighting and scenes without any external power source. Thanks to energy harvesting, they generate the radio energy they need from the mechanical motion of the switch itself — so there’s no battery, no wiring, and no maintenance.
These transmitters are fully compatible with the Casambi lighting control ecosystem, meaning they work seamlessly with Casambi modules, luminaires and apps. Using the Casambi app (free for iOS and Android), installers and end‑users can programme individual lights, groups and custom scenes — all controlled easily from the wall keypad.
Thanks to energy harvesting, JUNG Casambi keypads don’t need batteries or external power — they convert the physical push of the button into the energy required to transmit a signal. This eliminates the need for battery replacement and simplifies long‑term ownership.
Operating on the Bluetooth Low Energy standard in the 2.4 GHz band, these keypads communicate reliably within a typical indoor range of around 10 metres. As part of the Casambi mesh network, every device helps extend and strengthen communication across the system.
