Ozuno RAPIX Emergency

Ozuno RAPIX Emergency

RAPIX Emergency is Ozuno’s DALI-based emergency lighting monitoring system. It’s designed to automate commissioning, scheduled testing, and statutory reporting for emergency luminaires and DALI emergency control gear — from small projects to very large commercial sites. The system provides “one-click” commissioning, automated reporting, and local operation (no cloud required).

Key components (hardware + software)

Hardware
  • RAPIX Zone Controllers (DALI-2 Zone Controller) — Ethernet-connected controllers that each handle multiple physical DALI lines (common 4-line devices). They act as distributed application controllers so no single point of failure brings the whole system down.

  • RAPIX DALI Ethernet & USB interfaces — simple interface devices used for commissioning and for connecting PCs/tablets to DALI lines during setup and diagnostics. The USB interface is the usual handheld installer tool for addressing and quick line tests.

  • DALI Emergency Drivers / Xi devices — emergency DALI gear and drivers that support extended RAPIX diagnostics & functions. RAPIX Xi (extended intelligence) devices expose more internal telemetry to the system (battery states, test results, etc.).

Software (the RAPIX suite)
  • RAPIX Addressing — free, mobile/PC addressing tool for short addresses, basic device props and initial setup. Ideal for the first pass of DALI device addressing.

  • RAPIX Integrator — the project design and commissioning hub: create zones, scenes, schedules, room/floor layouts, and apply templates across DALI lines and Zone Controllers. It’s used to build the “live” system structure.

  • RAPIX Emergency — dedicated emergency monitoring app: configure periodic function and discharge tests, run manual or scheduled tests, collate results, and automatically generate compliance reports (PDF). It supports “one-click” test configuration for the whole system.

  • RAPIX Desktop / RAPIX Facilities / RAPIX Touch — additional tools for on-site visualization, facilities management and touchpoint control (depending on project needs).

Why RAPIX Emergency stands out

  • “One-click” system commissioning for emergency tests — instead of configuring every luminaire/test individually, you can apply a test regime across the whole system rapidly, saving hours or days on big projects.

  • Automated, auditable reporting — PDF export of test results and historical logs provides the compliance evidence maintenance teams and regulators require. It supports local standards (e.g., examples cite AS2293 compliance workflows).

  • Distributed resilience — Zone Controllers mean local operation continues even if parts of the network are disrupted; tests and local control aren’t reliant on a single master server.

  • Rich device telemetry (Xi devices) — RAPIX Xi-enabled emergency drivers and devices expose additional telemetry (battery health, service diagnostics) so maintenance moves from reactive to proactive.

  • Installer-friendly tools — the USB interface, mobile addressing and video training resources make onsite commissioning efficient for trained installers.
